DINNER

Don't you feel sorry for the little mouse? He was so scared, and seemed to know his fate. I think the snake liked watching him tremble. The mouse was there when we started our hike and still there after we finished swimming.

A perfect day

Last week we went to Pickens to stay at Papa and Nana's cabin near Table Rock. We had a great week just relaxing and taking it a day at a time.

The kids played in the creek everyday and caught many salamanders, crawdads, fish, and even a turtle.

We went to the lake a several times, and the kids became more confident in the water (video to come).

Dinner and dessert! No clean up required!

Did I say dessert!! Yum yum!

A ride in the Jeep after dinner.

A view of Table Rock at sunset! A perfect ending!

Swim Camp=Free time

Last week the kids went to swim camp...ALL of them!!! This was the first time that we have ever dropped off all four kids and had time to ourselves. We had 2 hours each day to do whatever we wanted.

Pipi did so well swimming. Here is just a short clip of her going under water. She went under water over and over, and was so proud of herself. She came up smiling every time!

New Do and a Thank you!

I just cut No-Bo's hair into what Jeff calls "a big boy haircut". He has wanted me to do it for a while now, and I have put him off. It is taking a while to get used to, but I think he still looks super cute (minus all the dirt on his face). Why is it that we get so attached to hair of all things?

Thank you Aunt Fav. and the rest of the Lingenfelters for our new super capes...we love them, and are ready to take on the world!

Yeah for summer!

Well I am finally getting around to updating. I don't know why I dread posting when I haven't done it for a while, but I do. As usual there is a lot going on in the Wilson household. Jeff and I have decided that summer is great. I mean what is better than sleeping in (8am is sleeping in right?), exercising every day, being able to take walks until 9:30 because it is still light out, swimming, visiting family, working in the yard, strawberry picking, going to the park, playing tennis and so on and so on. We are enjoying it all right now!

Guess where the water kept hitting them? Crazy boys...right now they can laugh about it!

Since the big boys both have their Birthdays in December we decided several years ago to celebrate their 1/2 Birthdays as well. There is always something that they would like to have during the rest of the year, but always have to wait until their B'day or Christmas which happens to be almost at the same time. They usually get to pick out something that they have been wanting, and we make them feel special for the day. I think we are in trouble though because we will have to start doing it with the twins before too long, and their 1/2 Birthday falls right during the holiday crazy time of year that we were trying to work around in the first place!!!!
